Always make the
extra effort to assure
that you know what is
happening, and what
you can do to help.
Clients always
come first,
no matter from
where they come.
Don't try to
fix the blame,
try to fix the
problem.
Do your job
honestly and
with integrity.
Even with the closest,
observation and the most
careful documentation
and reviews, people will
do stupid things.
It is acceptable to claim
credit for success
but it is vital to disclaim
responsibility for failure.
Just saying something
has to be changed
does not mean
that it will be.
Never
let your clients
see you sweat.
Never
propose anything
that cannot
actually be done.
Never underestimate
the inventiveness
of a person with an
expense account.
Sometimes one runs
into a true Catch 22
and there is nothing
that can be done.
There is no such
thing as enough
checking and
auditing.
